British Standards Online - BSOL packages
British Standards Online comes as the full collection, a choice of pre-defined modules or custom collections.
The full collection contains the complete set of British Standards. Included in the full collection are modules numbered 1 to 53. The full list is available by clicking this link.
You can choose from separate modules or any combination of multiple modules. In addition to Select Option packages:
- Select Option A (any 5 modules from 1 to 53)
- Select Option B (any 10 modules from 1 to 53)
- Select Option C (any 15 modules from 1 to 53)
There are two more modules which are only available as individual modules - Module 54 - Historical Standards and Module 57- BS 2000 Series
Custom Collections are available to organizations that need a degree of flexibility. You may build your own collection from individual British Standards across all modules in bundles from a minimum of 50 to a maximum of 200.

Accessing British Standards Online (BSOL) is easy. Once you've decided which modules you want to subscribe to, our BSOL team will set up according to your preffered access level:
- Unique username and password
- institutional or "blind" login (automatic recognition)
- Athens login
The minimum system requirements needed to access British Standards Online, BSOL, are as follows:
- i486 or Pentium personal computer
- Microsoft Windows 95 with 10MB of RAM, Windows 98 with 10MB of RAM, or Windows NT 4.0 with Service Pack 3 or later and 16MB of RAM
- Microsoft Internet Explorer version 4.0 with Adobe Acrobat Reader or Netscape Navigator or
- Communicator version 4.0 with Adobe Acrobat Reader version 5.0 or above standard Windows printer able to print raster images
- 20MB hard disk space
- 56KB Internet connection
- 12” colour monitor
- two-button mouse.
