  • How much does it cost to become a BSI Member?
    The cost of membership depends on the type and size of your organization and can be as little as £100 + VAT. View subscription rates.
  • How do I become a BSI Member?
    Contact the Membership department on +44 (0)20 8996 7002 or email membership@bsigroup.com for a quotation invoice which can be paid by cheque, BACS or credit card.
  • I am ISO 9000 registered. Does this mean I am a member of BSI?
    No - registration and membership are different. Membership grants no award or status to a company, but is a benefits package available to all companies, organizations and individuals for an annual fee.
  • Is BSS Membership the same as BSI Membership?
    No. BSS is the UK standards users' society administered by BSI. Joining BSS will help you to keep up to date with standards developments, implementation and also benefit from the guidance, support and practical experience of others in the application of standards.  
  • Can I order hardcopy British Standards online from the BSI Members website?
    You can buy hard copy British Standards from the BSI Shop or contact our Customer Services team on +44 (0)20 8996 9001.
  • Can I download standards from the BSI Shop?
    Yes, Members can prepay for any standrd and receive a pdf download version. In addition, if you subscribe to British Standards Online, you can view British Standards in a PDF or download them for later use.
  • Can I use the BSI logo when I become a Member?
    No, as a BSI Member you may not use the BSI logo.
