BSI PSS is leading the development of a Publicly Available Specification (PAS) for a method for measuring the embodied greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions from products and services at the request of Defra (Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs) and the Carbon Trust. On 18 February 2008 BSI British Standards launched the second round consultation on PAS 2050 - Download the Consultation statement. The consultation closed on 28 March 2008.
