In response to a call for proposals to promote standardization in the EU accession countries by DG Enterprise, a training programme was organized by BSI to provide a series of business briefings to small economic operators (SMEs).
Training for industry on the EC New Approach directives and the value of standards was given to economic operators and government officials, including conformity assessment bodies in the five EU accession countries of Malta, Cyprus, Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia.
