A leading manufacturer of high quality pipes for the construction industry in the Gulf region has recently achieved the prestigious honour of four Kitemark® licences for its Glass-Fibre Reinforced Polymeric (GRP) pipe products, which are used for a wide variety of applications, including water distribution networks and irrigation systems for both municipal and industrial wastes.
This marks the first Kitemark® licence to be awarded by BSI to a company in Abu Dhabi, and means the standards of production at Advanced Pipes confirm to an international target, including ASTM standards. BSI Product Services were on hand in Abu Dhabi to witness and verify the product testing.
