The Kitemark® scheme for Automotive Services is a voluntary, third party scheme that ensures that the standards of PAS 80 are met and maintained. The PAS 80 specification has been developed by BSI in conjunction with respected members of the automotive industry.
It defines standards for customer service, ensures technical and service standards are maintained and provides a quality framework for garages, including fast-fit outlets, that service and repair automotive vehicles. The specification includes a framework of performance measures that focus on aspects of service quality which have been identified as important to your customer.
The scheme does not cover the repair or servicing of public service vehicles, heavy commercial vehicles or heavy goods vehicles or other non-passenger vehicles such as forklift trucks. For more information on the Kitemark® scheme for Automotive Services, please follow the links on the left.
